After Hurricane Andrew in 1992, Miami Marine Stadium never opened its doors again. Miami lost more than a building. We lost a place where generations came together on the water to watch boat races, concerts, fireworks, and unforgettable nights under the open sky. For more than 30 years, this historic landmark has sat silent on our shoreline. But it doesn't have to stay that way. The City of Miami is finally moving forward with a plan to restore Miami Marine Stadium and bring it back to life. Now, we must stand behind it. Together, we can bring back a place that helped define Miami and make sure the next generation gets to experience it too.

What are we voting on?
We are voting on a management agreement with Global Spectrum to operate the stadium on behalf of the City of Miami. The goal of this partnership is to generate significant revenue for the city and bring back the stadium to life.
Does a "yes" vote result in taxpayer money being spent?
No. You're approving a management contract, not a construction budget. It brings in revenue for the City with no new taxpayer money, and Oak View Group (Global Spectrum) contributes up to $10 million toward restoration. Any restoration funding runs through the City's normal public process — and a proven operator is designed to protect taxpayers, not cost them.

Global Spectrum, L.P. is an Oak View Group (OVG) company. OVG is one of the world's leading venue operators, managing hundreds of arenas, stadiums, and convention centers. Locally, OVG operates the publicly-owned Miami Beach Convention Center — named best in the U.S. by Skift Meetings in 2024. The City of Miami Beach renewed this partnership in 2025 based on OVG's operational excellence and impact on the local economy. Their global portfolio also includes Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle and the Moody Center in Austin. They are a proven operator that turns public assets into world-class destinations — exactly what Miami Marine Stadium deserves.
Does voting for the Marine Stadium mean I'm also voting for the Rickenbacker Marina redevelopment or the Seaquarium project?
No. These are three separate decisions, and voting to Bring Back the Marine Stadium has nothing to do with the other two. The Marine Stadium vote (August 18) is about one thing: bringing in a professional operator to activate the Marine Stadium site and deliver concerts, water sports, and community events on the water. That's it. VOTE YES!

Shall the City enter into a management agreement with Global Spectrum L.P. to activate and manage events at the Historic Miami Marine Stadium and Flex Park, 3501 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami, FL, as follows:
- •City receives 93% of gross sales of all events after deducting a $33,333 monthly management fee
- •City receives 85% of sponsorship revenues
- •40 year term
- •Global Spectrum to pay the City up to $10,000,000 towards the restoration of Historic Marine Stadium?
